Marmol Radziner, 2011

Dosa 818, a clothing and house wares boutique in Downtown Los Angeles, hosted a launch party for the MRA jewelry line.  The table resembles a Mancala board, with each “scoop” representing a different piece and finish of the MRA jewelry line. The depth of the scoops is based on the piece it houses size and shape. A grasshopper definition was used to create the 3D file required for CNC fabrication. The table top is made from solid 2”  walnut planks, the box is made from walnut veneer, and the base is made of bronzed steel.

The design has been modified, and small 2 ft x 2 ft slabs are made for in-store displays.
